Make sure that when you lift the reward up to show it to someone else, you have earned it. It means so much more to have earned the award. Sneaky works is not smarter works. Clever is like cheating. It comes with compromise. Not one sole has ever asked what my grade point average was in college. But they have asked me many times if I went to college. I flunked writing. Well, maybe some D’s.
Those who cheat to increase the grade, cheat only themselves. But they already know that. False enhancement is just fine by them. They modify their pattern of living to accept the repayment program that will not increase the quality of their life. They will complain about that anyway. What gives with this?
Classy people do not cheat. People, who are more insecure, cheat. If you cheat to get your rewards, fix your insecurities first. That fix could produce your first reward. Remember this…a child wants a trophy. Show them how to earn it. And when they earn it, for goodness sake, reward them with a trophy. They earned it.
Have great aims. Work especially hard to reach them. And when an opportunity offers a cheating way to get the reward sooner, try working harder and waiting on the proper reward instead. It will mean so much more when it is earned correctly.
Some prestigious rewards go to receivers who admit they did not earn it. Ask any steroid user if it helped them race better, hit harder or jump higher?
If you cheat and hold your breath, it’s a lie that will interrupt your rest.
Stupidity is the only guaranteed reward that comes from a cheater who lies about cheating. And the office supply stores do not sell erasers that work on that kind of stupidity. You will be smudged forever. It can never be erased.
