COOPERATE: (Antonym) Divided.

How many times have we seen a parade and noticed all of the different kinds of equipment, vehicles, horses, carriages, public service trucks, bikes, scooters, marching bands and floats?  Think of all of the people each item must have involved in getting ready as they prepared for that parade.  Think of the time they did not have to devote to such preparation.  How did all of this happen?   Cooperation.

They did not have time to argue about what each presentation needed to look like.  The parade would not wait for that kind of waste.  Cooperation prevents a waste of time.  How valuable is time?  Is wasting time worth the notoriety of refusing to cooperate?  Think again.

And what’s more, could you imagine how well the carriage would perform in the parade if the mules could kick and pull at the same time.  Remember, it is not the way the mules kick, but rather the way they pull that makes the mules useful.

You can employ men and women; hire them to do the things you prefer to have done.  But you must win their hearts to have them work with you instead of against you.

Getting along in the world depends greatly upon getting along with people.

Light is the task when many people share the toil.

There is no “I” in the spelling of the word cooperate.  There is also no “we” combination in the word cooperate.  But I will take the “WE” version any day over the ”I” version.
