OPTIMISM: (Antonym) Undetermined.

Where does optimism go when challenges appear?  Anyone can be optimistic when things are doing fine.  Most people take credit when life is going well.

The true test of optimism is when the boat is almost sunk, that the passengers flip it over to use it as an upside down floating device.  They convert their feet into oars and paddle the floating device to shore.

Even though thorny stuff occurs to both the optimist and the pessimist, the optimist finds it more motivating to tackle the challenge.  If optimism fades away, so much is lost.  When the need for optimism appears, At least the struggle to survive will lend a chance for so much more to happen before the disaster becomes present.

Half empty glass, half full glass becomes less important to explain if both the optimist and the pessimist did not care about getting wet or taking a drink.  If losing the drink was the reason for fear, find a larger well.

Do not forget to laugh at the challenges you might face, the pessimist is afflicted with a no laughing matter burden.

If you go fishing at a derby, bring your camera.

If you dread that the best of times are here and now, and you suffer from a dooms day fear that tomorrow might not be the same, your pessimistic view will last longer than you desire it to be.

Ghosts are everywhere to the pessimist.  Some are even in the mind.

If you think that having a bald head is temporary, you might be an optimist.
