Marriage is amusing when the mates refuse its ties. Couples actually believe it’s the same connection when the loops are afraid to interlock in love. The intellect can conceive what the mind wills the most. But a marriage is not of the mind. A marriage is best tested when the loops are not separate loopholes.
So many folks are confused at the rings of bondage a marriage advocates. But it is those rings of bondage that secure the need for those people to become committed about who they are and why they are with each other.
The loop in the rings that is created by law is the bondage of faith that is forever their chart. To take it so lightly and to believe it might be only an act of commitment, meant only to be a temporary link, is pure confusion.
A pledge so fragile is not a permanent pledge. So a marriage worth having is a legal one indeed.
It has been said more than we care to read, a marriage consists of finding more than the right mate, but largely upon being the right mate. As is the best test for finding how insignificant we are is to finally gain a mate that we both can marry.
You can chase a mate around forever but marriage occurs when they catch you.
Certainly every man and woman who entered the thought of getting married to one another never expected the sea cruise to have so many stormy adventures. If you choose to marry, get married. But if you choose to stay single, don’t pretend to be married. The sea cruise will remain in a ditch where the shore is easy to reach.
