KNOWLEDGE: (Antonym) Uninformed.

One little boy was telling his buddy about the time he burned his hand on his mothers stove top.  He was lighting the candles of knowledge in his buddies mind by sharing his experience.  And as knowledge appears, it reflects the awareness of its truths.  His hand received a burn.

The wisdom came from the memory of how much it hurt.  Knowledge is but one thing, yet without adding the power of wisdom to the delivery he offered his buddy the same lesson of knowledge could not be passed on.  It really hurt.

Knowledge is alone without wisdom in the equation.  Grown-ups have the same stories to tell.  But without adding wisdom to our lessons of knowledge, sharing those gems will be worthless if we do not add the wisdom to the lesson.

We know enough to accept that some forms of knowledge will come, sooner or later.  And as those lessons arrive, our awareness of their value is best described by the failures they create.  Each crushing loss will linger long enough to produce our wisdom.  Knowledge requires wisdom to occur.

Knowledge is certainly overrated.  All you have to do is get beat up to gain it.  It is amazing to me how many people believe they gain knowledge when you try to tell them how much you have, as opposed to how much you have paid.

On the other hand, ask somebody for some detailed explanations and they will demonstrate less knowledge than you might desire.  Knowing where knowledge hides is as important as believing it is already inside.
