DISCIPLINE: (Antonym) Chaos.

Kevin was asked again by his mother to go clean up his room.  He told her he already did.  As a single working parent, Kevin’s mother was too tired to check it out.  Kevin also told her he had completed his homework.  Kevin’s mother did not even know his teachers name.  How could she check it out?

An old Chinese proverb once read, “Master easy, servant slack.”  Kevin’s future life performance is being altered by the lack of discipline applied in his life.  Kevin will develop sluggish habits that will forever burden him in the competitive world.  His future discipline to productivity is being molded today.  Kevin will likely suffer the consequence of poor performance in his future livelihood thanks to the early training he received on the lack of respect for discipline.

His pattern for success has been interrupted by the lack of discipline.  What a Shame.

How do we get children to care?  One thing is for certain, if the parents don’t mind that their children do not mind, then the children will not mind.  And apparently when that happens, nobody cares.

Most folks have a bent view of how straight they want their children to be.  Unfortunately, being straight with the children to some folks means to bend them over once in awhile.  Although effective if performed properly, some parents ignore this truth.  Others are skilled enough to dedicate great energy and love in a fashion that commands proper respect.  Parents who are afraid to put their foot down, however, usually wind up getting their toes stomped.  Discipline is as necessary as breathing.  The life of productivity depends upon great disciplines.  And no greatness to the world can occur without some levels of huge productivity.  The rest is just plain old hogwash.
