EDUCATION: (Antonym) Diminish.

What is the price of ignorance?  A king and a queen do not make a hand.  Many people have expressed the belief that they are the kings and queens of knowledge.  Just listening to them will tell you this is true.

If you find yourself worth more than your mind can handle, your next book might well be thrown at you.  Sadly, if you have outgrown your own mind, you are at least guaranteed a place in the ignorance line.

Start out by reading just one book.  Furnish your mind with more than it currently stocks.  Far too many associates of life play their hand with an empty mind.  Embark at once upon filling the mind with added material.  Find material that helps the soul to discover the functions that improve your life.  You owe it to the people around you.  You owe it to yourself.  Your best education has not yet occurred.

While waiting for a reply on some resumes, the recent graduate form the University decided to apply for a small time job to tide him over.  He got hired at a local grocery store.  The owner, an old timer, told the graduate to begin by sweeping up the entire store.  The grad approached the old timer, “I’m a college graduate!”  The old timer turned and said, “That’s alright, I’ll show you how it’s done.”

Often times the school that best fits the greatest education results is not the University, but rather, the school of hard knocks.  Unfortunately, we are educated enough to know that we will do everything we can to avoid the hard knocks.  Sometimes it is to our own demise.

Find the place where knowledge hides, seek it out, and absorb it into the mind that cares.  Take care of education and education will take care of you.
