Intelligence is sometimes worth more than what can be produced in books. Reading the material and gaining the information in a broad sense does not make for great intelligence. Sometimes knowing where to go and what to do does not come from the words in a book.
The brain serves many functions, but intelligence is one of its most treasured responsibilities. And as for responsibility, our intelligence is imperative. Without taking responsibility for our thoughts, the brain is only a mush of material.
